This cage is perfect for my Cherry Crested Conure. He has plenty of room and there is a lot of of space to hang toys. The perches are nice and thick for a larger bird. There was just about no assembly to the cage. (very simple and no tools needed). The only downside to this cage is the bottom grate is stationery. However, my husband cut off the notches on both sides of the grate so that I can lift it out to clean. So the problem was solved. There is no plastic base to the bottom of the cage so it is flimsy. I have the cage sitting on a board on top of the stand for added stabilty. But besides that the cage is great because the bird has plenty of room and I can easily lift it, as it is very light. I would recommend this cage to my friends.
